-
9v9: 13-14 years
-
11v11: 15 years
3. Balls, goals and equipment
7 vs 7 and 13-year-olds at 9 vs 9 play with size 4. Other classes play with ball size 5. Approved shin guards are mandatory in all age groups.
4. Competition format
Pool games 12 years and younger
In the age groups where play-offs are allowed, the games are played according to the Swedish Football Association's regulations without a final winner. In the first group stage, the teams are divided into four or five-team groups where everyone meets everyone. After that, a new draw is made where the teams are drawn into new groups and meet new teams.
4.1 Group games 13-16 years old
The teams are divided into groups where everyone plays against each other in a single series, followed by a playoff for everyone. The first and second place in each group go to the A playoff. The third, fourth and fifth place go to the B playoff.
The order of the teams is decided by points. A win is 3 points, a draw is 1 point, and a loss is 0 points.
The teams' placement after the group stage is determined by the following:
1. Number of points.
2. Goal difference.
3. Most goals scored.
4. Mutual meeting.
5. Draw.
(WO = 2-0)
4.2 Playoffs 13-16 years
All teams advance from the group stage to the A or B play-offs. If they lose in the play-offs, the team is eliminated from the tournament but then plays 1-2 placement matches. All teams are guaranteed 5-6 matches during the tournament. Luxcuper cannot be held responsible if teams fail to participate or drop out during the tournament.
In the event of a draw, a penalty shootout is used in accordance with FIFA regulations. Each team takes 3 penalty kicks in turn, each with different players. If the score is still tied, the teams continue to take penalties, one penalty kick at a time with new players until a decision is made. Each penalty kick is taken by a different player and all players eligible to participate in the penalty shootout must take a penalty kick before any player may take a second penalty kick. Rebounds are not permitted in a penalty shootout. A ball that hits the goalpost and is on its way away from the goal is counted as a miss, as is a goalkeeping save.
