Luxcuper is expanding its range of football cups with a summer cup. The cup, which will be called Kristinehamn Summer Games, will take place in the summer of 2024 between 14-16 June at Sannahedens IP in Kristinehamn. The cup will offer games in both difficult and medium classes for boys' and girls' teams with players born in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
- We have had plans to organise a summer cup for a long time and the idea has always been to do it together with IFK Kristinehamn in Kristinehamn. Now it is finally becoming a reality and it feels very fun. In the long run, we see that it can become a big cup, but we are moving slowly and our main focus is, as always, to be able to offer a really good cup experience to the teams that come," says cup general Patrick Luxenburg.
All matches will be played at Sannahedens IP in Kristinehamn, which has six full-size 11-a-side pitches. The 2012 teams will play 7-a-side, the 2011 teams 9-a-side and the 2010 teams 11-a-side. All matches will be played 2×20 minutes and all teams are guaranteed at least six matches during the weekend.
- "The conditions for organising a cup like this are fantastic. We have access to six full-size 11-a-side pitches on natural grass that are all directly adjacent to each other. The teams will stay in school halls that are also close to the pitches. All this in combination with the proximity to Lake Vänern, water parks, paddle and lots of other activities that Kristinehamn offers. It's all set up for a really great cup adventure," says event manager Oscar Therén.

Luxcuper has been organising football cups for youth teams since 2014 with the keywords quality, joy and lux. The majority of the cups are played in Kristinehamn Arena in Värmland and since 2023 they also organise football cups in Eckeröhallen in Åland. In total, Luxcuper organises around 20 cups each year, the majority of them between October and April.
